Ky-mani is a rising star with his untitled third album. The 26th of February, 1976 Ky-mani Marley was born to famous Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champion Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler". For a man living up to his moniker, each album or trip is an adventure. The Journey was his first musical venture. Through an eclectic approach, he sought out his uniqueness while exploring the entire musical spectrum to discover his numerous talents. Many More Roads, a traditional album of reggae that was Grammy-nominated in 2001, proved that Ky-mani was a mature artist. The Journey as well as Many More Roads were well received worldwide, thus solidifying Ky-Mani's status as an independent "artist". Ky-Mani is well-known for his unique blend between hip-hop and R&B with a touch of contemporary jazz.
